Writings of David Weissmann and More

Hey y'all! Here is a small compilation of some writings and drawings of Grandpa David's that were found while going through everything. Thanks to Doug for sharing those Dr. Seuss letters and I will try to post those up here soon as well. I am back down in New Orleans now, but hope to continue to post things on here periodically, so stay tuned!

Lots of love,

Nicole

Found Writings

I have recently come across a briefcase of Grandpa David's with lots of  his writings and correspondences. I hope to get a lot of them up here. To start, a sampling:

Balfour Family Tree

Thanks to Susan Walters for passing along this link to our expanded family tree. It goes as far back as Andrew W. Balfour and Perina Price (known to some as Little Grandma), both born in the 1850s. And as far forward as the current generation: Balfour Family Tree.

Dearest Family,

As I have been going through Grandma Shirley and Grandpa David's belongings, I have found myself continually wanting to share it all with all of you. So I decided to create this space here, on this blog. My plan is to upload pictures, drawings, and notes that I find. I know I won't be able to get everything up here, but I figure, in the meantime, and until we can do something more official, this would work for now. My hope is that this can be a venue to share some of the cool things I have been finding, and also that this will be a collaborative venue with each of you--a place where you all, too, can comment and share and discuss. This will be a constantly evolving process, and I value any feedback you all have. I just figured I needed to start somewhere! So here it is.

Looking forward to it all,

With so much love,

Nicole
